Royal Staffordshire A J Wilkinson Green Transferware Carnarvon Castle Stein, Vintage Ceramic Tankard Beautiful Stein which has a green transfer ware design of Carnarvon Castle which is the Anglicized version of Caernarfon, a medieval fortress in Northwest Wales. This good looking tankards measures 6 1/4 high, approximately 5 wide (including handle) & its mouth is 2 3/4. The bottom of the tankard has the Royal Staffordshire Pottery hallmark with A J Wilkinson LTD in green. in very good overall vintage condition, there appears to be a small hairline 1 long hairline fracture on the interior that does not go through mug & there is a very small flea bite on the base of the mug right under the Carnarvon Castle verbiage.
