Maker: BMF Bierseidel Item : Beer Stein Capacity: 16 ounces (1 Pint) Size: 4 1/2 Tall Weight: 1 lb. 7 oz. Made in W. Germany Circa 1950s This listing is for a Mcm German Beer Stein. This vintage Stein is in great vintage condition. There are a couple flea bites on the interior glass rim, that are not even photographable. This BMF Bierseidel Stein has a repeating S patterning on the glass & is marked Original BMF Bierseidel on the starburst bottom. The metal lid bears the BMF logo of an upside down triangle with BMF N in the middle. The N stands for Nickel. There was an S variation, meaning silver, produced as well. The bottom of the nickel lid also states Made in Germany. Even today, the BMF Company has factories in multiple countries, hence the country designation. This pint beer stein is hefty in weight & design. The lid has a flower design on the tab & rope design along the perimeter. The repeating S pattern of the glass compliments this rope design nicely. Lastly, you’ll be seeing stars with the last gulp of your brew, there’s a starburst on the bottom of this vintage beer Stein/Tankard.
