Heineken is a golden yellow lager with 100% barley malt and a small but important addition: Heineken’s A Yeast. This unique yeast creates a full flavour and the typical fruity tones. The finish is mild and softly bitter. Available as a minimum order of 12 bottles. A truly global business. Its former brewery in Amsterdam now provides us with tours rather than the actual beer itself. Consistent and much improved since we fell in line with the rest of Europe. Yes- I am old enough to remember when we had a much weaker version of Heineken in the UK. And it wasn’t anywhere near as good.
