Glengoyne 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky – 70cl 43%

Released toward the end of 2012 to replace the superb Glengoyne 17, this 18 year old was aged in refill sherry and first-fill sherry casks and the results are simply lovely! Whisky region: Highland Nose: Sweet honey and slightly dry woody tones. Palate: Rich, mouth-coating. Slightly nutty. Hints of Orange peel with underlying rich oaky flavour. Finish: Bitterness with smooth nuttiness.
