This is the optimal solution for the wine & cognac group, since the oak faucet does not react at all with alcohol-containing liquids, unlike metal faucets. The tap into the barrel is inserted by hand into the existing drain hole without pressing, with a forward-turning movement until the start of preparation for operation (soaking). The use of a hand-held percussion instrument is not permitted. Please note that we do not recommend using a tap to drain the water when soaking the barrel with water. We recommend using the tap directly for filling the finished product. We recommend draining the water when soaking through the filler neck of the barrel.
