Vintage Singer Sewing Machine Drinks Case, Portable Or Static

This Vintage Singer sewing machine case has been restored to give it a new purpose in the 21st Century. Use as either a decorative item on a sideboard where it can take pride of place & store up to 6 bottles of spirits with a handy cubby for your cocktail measure or other items, or take it with you on your picnic! The bottom section has been painted black inside & out, & has a faux velvet lining. The hood has been restored with a clear satin varnish to enhance the tiger oak veneer. The original key locks the case enabling it to be carried. I have not touched up the SINGER logo as I feel this retains it’s vintage heritage & history. Whilst this was designed to carry a sewing machine of more than 5kg in weight this is the original lock & clasp so your own judgement should be used before using as a portable item.
