Immaculate Blue & White Nautical-Themed Mid-Century Ice Bucket! USS Constitution, also known as Old Ironsides, is a wooden-hulled, three-masted heavy frigate of the United States Navy. She is the world’s oldest ship of any type still afloat! The name Constitution was among ten names submitted to President George Washington in March of 1795. Constitution was retired from active service in 1881 & served as a receiving ship until being designated a museum ship in 1907. Constitution is berthed at Pier One of the former Charlestown Navy Yard in Boston. Measurements: 7 3/4 in diameter, 8.5 Inches tall to the top of the lid handle. Very good vintage condition.
