Vintage Mallorcan Matador Jacket Wine Bottle Cover – Complete With A Of Martini Rosso | Sadly Empty

The jacket measures 5 in height x 6.5 in width x 4.5 in depth. We found this beautiful souvenir from Mallorca recently at an auction in Bristol. The silk jacket is heavily decorated in the Matador style complete with sequins & embroidery & finished with gold tasseled fringing. The jacket was made in the early 1970s. The jacket sits on the shoulder of a vintage bottle of Martini Rosso & has probably been there since it was new. Inside the jacket, there is a white silk lining, & printed on the back of the inside is an illustration of a Matador, with the words ‘Made in Spain – Mallorca – Xafmas’. There is some dust on the shoulders of the jacket due to age & the ribbon tie is discoloured in places. The sleeves are padded to keep them straight.
