Vintage Lunt Silversmith Pewter Stein S1B2

This is a Lunt Silversmith pewter tankard/stein. This was made in England of English pewter & was made exclusively for Lunt Silversmith. Lunt Silversmith was established in 1902. in 1902 George C. Lunt, an engraver in the A.F. Towle & Son Company, bought the business & renamed it Rogers, Lunt & Bowlen Co. The company has remained in the Lunt family hands since the founding. in 1935, the name was changed to Lunt Silversmiths, which it remains until today. This pewter stein has a clear glass bottom. It stands 5 tall with a top opening diameter of 3 1/4. This stein is in good vintage condition & would be a great addition to any collection!
