Ponia pattern / shape number 292 Presented for your consideration is a cut-to-clear crystal wine goblet in a lovely bright COBALT / ROYAL BLUE. Cut into the mouth blown cupola are three large blossoms surrounded by leaves. The cut six-sided faceted stem has been notched & leads down to a clear Star of David cut base. This full lead (24% PbO) crystal wine hock is a vintage German piece produced by Reinerzer Kristallglas-Werke Franz August Knittel GmbH aka FAK IRIS, Bad Ems, Rhineland-Palatinate during the 1920s. The attern carries the number 292 & the name Ponia. It appears in the pattern book of 1925. It is in excellent condition. There are no nicks, dings, chips, scratches nor repairs. Remants of the original gold foil sticker are still in place.
