Here we find all the signs of a great terroir southeast exposure, plots of mid-hills and high hills (360-410 m) particularly poor and broken, very draining soil and rock thin and flush … yields naturally limited (less than 35 hl / ha). Slopes require only manual work. A cup of driving stakes (as in Cote Rotie example) responds to strong sun exposure. The granite stones, flush, play a crucial role here: the heat accumulated by the rocks exposed to the sun is returned in the evening to reach a good maturity, slow and deep, combining richness, freshness and silky tannins. The roble intense, with beautiful purple violet hues. Nose, complex and delightful, book notes of raisins reached a good maturity, with flavours of black fruits such as blackberry, black cherry or blueberry. The notes of fruit, peony and elegant touches of spice. The tannins are melted and silky. Long aromatic persistence gives the wine a greedy character. This wine reveals its fragmented land of birth and imposes its requirements. It expresses the finesse and elegance of Cru Fleurie in a subtle balance between concentration and minerality, freshness and aromatic complexity.
