Tullibardine 2008 / The Murray Edition Highland Whisky

70cl / 56.1% / Distillery Bottling – A limited-edition 2008 Tullibardine single malt from the Marquess Collection, inspired by the 2nd Marquess of Tullibardine, Sir William Murray, who fought for the Jacobites at the Battle of Sheriffmuir. The Murray Edition was matured in first-fill American oak casks until 2021, creating aromas of honeycomb, butterscotch, candy floss, crème brûlée and bergamot that fill the nose. The palate offers notes of orange, warm brownies, mint ice cream and milk chocolate that linger in the finish.
