Torres Chile – Santa Digna Merlot 2015 6x 75cl Bottles

Aromas of plum and blackberry preserves mixed with touches of vanilla and licorice. Inviting and elegant on the palate, enriched with toasted notes from the oak aging and a long, spicy finish. Pair with meat, soup, or baked fish. The name Santa Digna was given to the crosses marking the district boundaries of a land. These crosses served to delimit territories and symbolised good fortune and protection for those who were leaving for other climes. This is a merlot that was obtained after several years of experimentation in plantations with different climates. Aged for six months in American oak casks until bottling, with no type of filtration.
