Rhubarb is one of the first crops of the year on the Tiptree Farm in Essex, where we have been growing fruit since the 1800s. Is it a fruit, or is it perhaps a vegetable? Our signature fruit is the Little Scarlet strawberry, a tiny wild variety, originally brought to the UK by the Wilkin family in the early 1900’s.
