Each little pub sign cocktail stick measures 3.75 x 0.75. We found this amazing selection of vintage swinging pub sign cocktail sticks at an auction in Bristol. We have sold these before, but not in such a large amount. Each little plastic stick is silver-coloured plastic, with a swinging pub sign at the top. There are several Whitbread signs, some Courage Brewery pubs, & some Free Houses. On the back of each sign is the address of the pub & details of what the pub had to offer, function rooms, food, fine dining, & in some cases, the names of the hosts. There are some doubles in this selection, but not many. It really is a bumper collection, probably from the 1950s or 60s. The sad thing about them is that some are bound to be closed now in the current climate, so they represent a bygone era when there were pubs in every town & village. The selection came in a pretty glass with a gold rim & featuring a nice pheasant design, & that is where they will stay when we send them. The sticks in their original glass will be wrapped & packaged using recyclable materials including 100% biodegradable bubble wrap.
