75cl / 14.5% – Today Tavel has become synonymous with rose wines but in the past it was more famous for its reds. It was one of the first regions to gain its AOC in 1936. Eric and Gael started farming traditionally but have now fully converted to organics in 2018 and very little sulphur is added. On the nose inky fig and rhubarb with coffee, red apple, peach and licorice. On the nose lively juicy fruit with licorice, prune and mulberry, chill this down a touch and it will reward you.
