Super Little Vintage Whisky Water Jug Advertising Seagram’s Vo Canadian – Made By Arabia Of Finland

We found this great little whisky jug at a specialist auction in Northamptonshire recently. The jug was made for Seagram’s Whisky, a Canadian whisky, the distillery was founded in 1857 in Waterloo, Ontario by Joseph E Seagram. The jug advertises Seagram’s VO Canadian Whisky. The Seagram Whisky company also sponsored various English Grand National Horse Races in the 20th century. The jug was made by Finnish ceramics company Arabia, who were based in Helsinki. The jug measures 4.5 in height x 3.5 x 3.25. It is finished in a shiny black glaze with gold embellishments. The back stamp shows Arabia Made in Finland. The jug will be cushioned in bubble wrap, wrapped in tissue & its box padded with paper for a safe journey to its new home. We are proud that most of our packaging is now paper-based & recyclable.
