70cl / 51.1% / Hunter Laing – A 1987 Strathclyde single grain whisky from independent bottler Hunter Laing that was matured in a single refill barrel for 34 years, before being bottled in April 2022 as part of its Sovereign series. Aromas of apples, vanilla and forest fruits fill the nose, complemented by notes of liquorice, dark chocolate, brambles and blackcurrants throughout the palate and lingering in the finish.
