Springbank 25 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 2019

This Springbank 25 Year Old release was matured in 60% sherry casks and 40% Rum casks. A true rare bottling from the family owned Campbeltown distillery. Nose: A floral fragrance first hits with a sweet creamy trifle dessert.

The 2019 release of Springbank 25 Year Old has been aged in 60% ex-sherry casks and 40% ex-rum casks. The result is fruity and complex single malt with aromas of rhubarb, pineapples, parma violets and sweet oloroso sherry. The palate expertly balances light, fruity tropical notes from the rum casks and rich, sweet notes of raisins from the sherry casks. Topped with thick honey and a citrus pinch. Palate: Fresh vanilla bean, chewy fudge, plus a smokey deep flavour. Finish: A nice long finish, with freshly squeezed oranges and a meaty exterior. A lovely addition to the Springbank collection.
