Sold Art Deco Drinks Cabinet Princess Peacock

Princess Peacock This little lady was a joy to create. The beautiful Emerald City colour from Annabell Duke is bright & such a perfect turquoise… trying to get the exact colour on camera was a challenge. It’s definitely a green/blue & just makes the peacock fabric decoupage on the back of the cabinet PoP! I have used Fusions Midnight blue on the shelves & dividers to once again pick out colours from the fabric at the back. The gold accents are Pebeo Gilding wax & highlight the piece beautifully. I have kept the original handles & updated them using alchemy & pebeo waxes in with blues & golds to continue the peacock theme. This drinks cabinet makes a statement. It has 2 shelves on either side to hold those all important bottles & glasses & then 3 drawers for other important bits – shakers, stirrers, Cocktail recipes & the rest.
