Samaroli Diamond Edition 2017 Blended Malt Scotch Whisky – 70cl 40%

This blend is, as it syas on the tin, a diamond. A serious elegance, likened to that flaunted in self-portraits from the Hapsburg era, not Lavish or Latin, like that often found in 20/30-year-old Speysides. Like a rough Diamond this blend has been worked and like a precious stone it must be jealously guarded. Savour it, one drop at a time. Nose: Complex, mint, rosemary and herbs are joined by hints of chocolate, fresh leather and tobacco. Pear, honey and et sugar, giving substance and balance at the same time. Palate: Bold, unique tones that are unusual for a Speyside. Fresh tobacco just set aside to dry makes you instantly forget what the nose had led you to expect. Finish: Medium-long, mouth coating with repeating sweetness.
