Sakurao Japanese Dry Gin – 70cl

Sakurao Original Japanese Gin is made using nine local botanicals from the distillery’s surrounds in Hiroshima (including yuzu, Japanese cypress, ginger and red shiso), alongside a classic core.

A craft gin that utilizes 9 kinds of botanicals, including fresh citrus from Hiroshima, and is distilled using a combination of steeping and vapor methods. Besides 9 kinds of botanicals from Hiroshima, 5 kinds of imported botanicals such as juniper berry and coriander seed are also used for Sakurao Gin Original. The fusion of a citrus-like aroma with the traditional taste of gin is the most distinctive feature of our original gin.

• Made from nine botanicals, including the typical Japanese cherry blossom.
• Complex and aromatic with earthy angelica root and green tea notes, plus some violets and cherry blossoms.
• Crisp juniper in the foreground with a little black pepper.
• Notes of jam and citrus fruits follow before a coriander spice appears on the finish.
