Charming pair of vintage silver plated wine coasters with lovely decorative embossings of foliage on the bases, & an elegant rims. One of them is stamped Silver Plated Made in England, & they date from the second half of the twentieth century. These coasters are not only great for catching drips & condensation, but can add a touch of elegance to any table. They both remain structurally sound & in perfect working condition. They show some signs of wear & use commensurate with age, especially one of them, which has some wear to the plate & spots of tarnish (as shown in the last two pictures). They are priced accordingly. They measure approximately D14.5cm x H5cm, & can hold bottles up to 10cm in diameter. (The bottle shown in the pictures is not included.)
