Issued as promotional material in the 50’s 60’s & 70’s to bars & restaurants, throughout France, this Iconic BERGER ashtray & carafe are rare collectors piecesfor lovers of all things French! Berger is an aperitif drink flavoured with aniseed. Popular since the 1950’s & remains part of everyday life in the South of France. This traditional ashtray is in excellent condition & would make a superb addition to any collection. It is black ceramic with yellow lettering. It measures approx 16cm (6ins) at the widest point & weighs approx 800g unpackaged Please be aware that our vintage items are preloved & not new. They may have imperfections typical of age & usage.
