The wine is velvety, concentrated with fine tannins and notes of cassis and sour cherry aromas. It has a pithy, savoury finish with an elegant lick of sweet vanilla spice. The wine is aged in new and two-year-old oak barrels. Abanico is the Spanish word for fan, as pictured on the label. This refers to the Spanish lady who ran the estate during the 1980’s.
