Lovely mugs that feature a BMW M3 & its racing colours Quote: Showing all Championship Wins for this car & Signatures of Notable Drivers who have won in this car Drivers & brief history are below: Roberto Ravaliga Roberto Ravaliga has won many Championships from European Touring Car (1986 & 1988), World Touring Car (1987), DTM (1989) & Italian Touring Cars (1990, 1991 & 1993) Plus winning the 24 hours of Spa 3 times & 24 hours of Nrburgring twice. He has also raced at Le Mans 24 hours twice with his best result of 3rd in 1997 driving a McLaren F1 GTR. He retired from racing in 1997 as one of the most successful touring car drivers. Jim Richards I had the honour of meeting Jim Richards as he was our celebrity driver at the Goodwood Revival back in 2010 when we got invited to race in the St Mary’s Trophy in our Morris Moggy Minor. We ended up finishing in the Top 10 both races. He has won many Championships mainly in Australia from the Australian Touring Car (1985, 1987, 1990 & 1991), Australian Endurance Champ (1985 & 1986), Australian GT Production (1995 & 1999), NASCAR Australia (1996), Australian Nations Cup (2000, 2001 & 2002), Carrera Cup Australia (2003) & Touring Car Masters (2010 & 2013) driving many different cars (BMW 635CSi, BMW M3, Nissan Skyline R32 GTR, Porsche 968CS & Porsche 911 RSCS, Pontiac Grand Prix, Porsche 996 GT3, Ford Falcon Sprint & many more. Jim Richards & his son Steven Richards have won the Bathurst 1000 12 times. First one in 1978 & last one to date 2018. Johnny Cecotto Johnny started out motorcycle racing between 1975 & 1980. He rose to prominence as a teenage prodigy in 1975 when he became the youngest motorcycle road racing champion at the age of 19. At the age of 24 he turned his attention to car racing & competed in many different forms of Motorsport from F2, F1, European Touring Car, World Touring Car, Italian Touring Car Championships, DTM, German GT Cup, Super Tourenwagen Cup, BTCC, Le Mans 24 Hours & Bathurst 1000. He won a few Championships in German GT Cup in 1993 driving a BMW M3 GTR, Super Tourenwagen Cop in 1994 & 1998 in a BMW 318i & BMW 320i & 1989 Italian Touring Car Championship. Best Le Mans finish was 8th Overall & 6th in Class in 1996 in a McLaren F1 GTR Best Bathurst 1000 finish was 2nd Overall & 2nd in Class in 1985 with Roberto Ravaglia & a BMW 635CSi Eric Van De Poele He won the DTM Championship in 1987 in a BMW M3 his only full season in the series. Other race series he featured in were Formula 3000 & F1 for the Modena Team, Motor Racing Developments & Fondmetal from 1991 & 1992 only competing in 5 races as the rest he did not qualify. He took part in the Spanish Touring Car Championship from 1995 to 1996 racing with the Team Repsol Nissan in a Nissan Primera which is best result was 3rd Eric raced in Le Mans 24 Hours 13 times from 1992 to 2010 his best finishes were 1st in Class in 1998 driving a Ferrari 333SP, 1st in Class & 3rd Overall in 2001 driving a Bentley ExP Speed 8 & in 2002
