70cl / 46% / Mossburn – Mossburn are cask experimenters, and this Island Blended Malt is a successful example of their excellent work. Initially blended from American oak barrels of whisky from the Scottish islands, the resulting whisky was then filled into ex-bourbon barrels with toasted, virgin European-oak cask heads (aka ‘Mossburn Cask Bill #1’), adding an extra kick of spice.
