Mortlach 2008 / 14 Year Old / Old Malt Cask Speyside Whisky

70cl / 50% / Hunter Laing – A 2008 Mortlach single malt from independent bottler Hunter Laing that was matured in a refill hogshead for 14 years, before being bottled in July 2022 as part of its Old Malt Cask series. Aromas of liquorice, raspberries, blackberries and soft smoke fill the nose, complemented by notes of cocoa powder, toasted malt and caramel sauce throughout the palate.
