Montagny 1er Cru Grappe d’Or Feuillat-Juillot 2021

75cl / 13.5% – Francoise Feuillat-Julliot was brought up amongst the vines and her father is a highly regarded Mercurey producer. She has 14 hectares of old vines in Montagny, which she works sustainably. On the nose a gentle lifted fruit with soft toasty notes, cantaloupe, yellow apple and marmalade come through. The palate is all about lemon zest, brioche and soft orchard fruits. This is a very well put together burgundy and offers great value for money.
