Milk & Honey Apex Pomegranate Wine Cask 2018 / Bot.2022 Israeli Whisky

70cl / 57.2% / Distillery Bottling – An unusual Israeli single malt from Tel Aviv-based distillery Milk & Honey that was distilled in 2018 and initially matured in ex-bourbon casks, before being finished for six months in ex-pomegranate wine casks and bottled in February 2022 as part of its Apex series. Aromas of ripe pomegranate, vanilla, roasted coffee and butterscotch fill the nose, complemented by notes of dried figs, garden herbs, white pepper, toasted oak and sourdough toast throughout the palate.
