A superb 1960s mid century drinks station/cabinet. This funky piece is simply amazing – we’ve never seen this piece before! The cabinet oozes pure mid century charm with fantastic black elongated diagonal legs, two teak cabinets with curved fronts & original locks & key. The top cabinet features a marvellous original mirrored back & also a light to really show off your cocktails in style – see photos 3 & 4 to see it in action! The top cabinet is lined in a fabulous light burr walnut veneer that contrasts beautifully to the dark teak & black legs, & even has the original four retro coloured cocktail sticks sitting in the doors ready for action! The lower cabinet serves as a drinks station & has a tray style top with lipped edge to prevent any accidents. The lower cabinet is dedicated to safely storing your drinks & has a vertical chrome bar along the bottom to stop them from accidentally falling out. The cabinet doors have a fabulous grain to the teak veneer & beautiful brass plated chrome arrow shape handles. This is an amazing drinks station which oozes mid century style, & boasts so many incredible original features – we love it & think it adds instant opulence & style to any room (and cocktail party!). The cabinet is in very good vintage condition. The cabinet doors & locks are in good working order. The lamp will be sent without a plug as it is a two cord wire without an earth wire rather than modern safety requirements which have three. Legally we cannot sell this with a plug due to the wiring, however it still works as seen in the photos & you will need to fit a plug. There are some minor marks & scratches on the wood of the piece but they are not very noticeable or distracting. There are some scratches & marks to the original black paint on the legs, as expected for the age of this piece. Please see photos for general condition.
