This is worth buying just for the box! The cover features a traditional old pub, an RAC emergency telephone booth & a line of Old Timer cars. All well-known British icons. Yet the shot glasses were made inFrance. Definitely a great example of ‘entente cordiale’ !! The 6 shot glasses are absolutely immaculate & have NEVER left the box. They are still held in place by the cardboard guard & I have taken just one out for the photograph. All the glasses have different pictures of early century Old-timer cars on the front, again in pristine condition. Clean, clear & free of faults. The box is worn & shabby-chic but it has protected the contents well. Plus it looks fantastic! This has to be the ultimate retro bar accessory or the perfect prop for the mid-century man’s cave, especially with the original & rare box. The six glasses are each 2.5 or 6cms tall & the box is 12 long.
