Mezan Guyana 2011 (Diamond) / 11 Year Old

70cl / 46% – A 2011-vintage rum from Mezan that was made at Guyana’s Diamond distillery and matured in ex-bourbon casks for 11 years, first in Guyana’s tropical climate for three years, then for a further eight years in Europe. Aromas of oak, apricots, peach, black pepper, vanilla and honey fill the nose and are echoed through the palate, complemented by dried fruit, baking spice and peppery oak notes that linger in the finish.
