A celebration of autumn from Swedish distillery Mackmyra, Jaktlycka – meaning ‘happy hunting’ – has been matured in an arracy of casks, including ex-bourbon, American oak, Swedish oak and oloroso sherry casks. Aromas of grapes, garden herbs, soft vanilla, star anise, ginger, raisins, caramelised pears and vanilla build on the nose, complemented by notes of blackberries, raspberries, dried fruit, pears, ginger, raisins and vanilla throughout the palate, with hints of spicy oak lingering in the finish.
