70cl / 56.8% / Elixir Distillers – A 2004 Ledaig single malt from independent bottler Elixir Distillers that was matured in a single hogshead for 17 years, before being bottled in February 2021 as part of its Single Malts of Scotland series. Aromas of sun-dried seaweed, peaty ash, sea salt, smoke and lemon peel fill the nose, complemented by notes of lemon juice and sea salt on fresh oysters, baked fruit and marshmallows roasted over an ashy bonfire throughout the palate.
