Jim Barry Assyrtiko 2018

75cl / 12.5% – Assyritiko is traditionally a varietal grown on the island of Santorini but here in the Clare Valley it has found a home from home. It doesn’t have the same saline character as in Greece but there is plenty of zesty lime and aromas of wet stones, white flowers and jasmine. On the palate it is crisp and fresh with some white orchard fruits. If you want a change from Chablis try this wine.
