Jawbox Small Batch Classic Dry Gin, 70 cl

70cl / 43% – Jawbox Classic Dry is a single-estate gin made at Echlinville distillery near Belfast. Made using 11 botanicals including heather, liquorice, cubeb and grains of paradise, this works particularly well in a G&T.

Gin comes to us from the Ards Peninsula, on the north-east coast of Northern Ireland. This small batch gin is made with a combination of 11 botanicals, including juniper, lemon, cubeb, angelica, coriander, cassia, orris root, grains of paradise, cardamom, liquorice root and Black Mountain heather. The distillers recommend trying this with ginger ale and a squeeze of lime. This is the spirit that inspired the creation of Jawbox – a gin brand for the adventurous, the confident and curious; for those who enjoy every moment. • Jawbox Small Batch is distilled slowly. Very slowly – in a traditional copper pot still. That is because we believe it takes time to let the botanicals fully infuse the spirit to produce the best quality gin
• In all, Jawbox Small Batch features no fewer than eleven fine botanicals. Most of these are ‘steep and boil’ and three use the vapour extraction method to preserve their delicate aroma
• Just outside Belfast is a vast 300-acre country estate that dates back to the 16th century. It’s home to both our distillery and the fields where the grain for our spirit is grown and harvested
• It is then triple-distilled on-site in our traditional copper pot stills. We distil in small batches using time-honoured methods – plus a unique combination of botanicals, including our local Belfast Black Mountain heather. And we take our time
