Guigal – Crozes Hermitage Rouge 2016 6x 75cl Bottles

Guigal matures this wine for a lengthy 18 months to refine the tannins yet it still delivers a remarkable freshness of red fruit character combined with the spicy pepper of the Syrah grape. This is the biggest appellation in the Northern Rhne and the wines are made entirely of Syrah. The reds are softer and fruitier than Hermitage because the soils are richer.
