Greaves & Thomas Rosewood Sideboard/Drinks Cabinet, 1960S

This beautiful 1960s rosewood & rosewood veneer highboard / drinks cabinet is produced by well known British furniture manufacturer, Greaves & Thomas. The cabinet comprises of a top section with middle cabinet & fold down cabinet door, flanked on either side by 2 display cavities, one which would have had sliding glass doors but which have since been lost, however I don’t feel has lost anything with these no longer being part of the unit. The bottom section comprises of central drawers each with the stylish signature circular inset handles & is again flanked with the cabinets finished with sliding doors & handles that match the drawers. There are fixed position glass shelves in each cabinet. The piece stands on stylish dansette legs, a signature feature of furniture produced in the 1960s. There is a Greaves & Thomas maker’s mark in the top drawer. Dimensions: 151cm (w) x 40.5cm (d) x 110.5cm (h) Condition: Overall the piece is in great condition with a few signs of age related wear.
