Gran Mascota Malbec 2019, La Mascota

Opaque purple-red colour. Concentrated yet sophisticated aromas of black cherry, purple plum, damson purée, vanilla and crème brûlée. This is a bigger, more velvety wine than the regular Mascota Malbec, and you can tell that it has been aged in French oak from its subtlety and beautiful integration of fruit and wood character. Beautifully soft, seamless texture, with fragrant, complex malted cereal notes on the finish. This is made from fruit grown in the exciting, high-altitude Uco Valley within the wider Mendoza region.
