Glenfiddich Rare Oak 25 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky – 70cl 43%

The Glenfiddich 25 Year Old Rare Oak was originally released for the Travel Retail market. It’s drawn from a mixture of Spanish Sherry butts and American bourbon barrels, resulting in a rich, complex flavour profile. Lively Sherried spice and juicy raisin notes blend well with the chewy vanilla touches – a classic combination. Nose: Apples drenched in caramel and butter, blackberries, oak and rum. Palate: Raisins and sultanas wine, ginger and Honey. Finish: Oily pine, nutmeg and a touch of citrus.

• A quarter-century aged Glenfiddich which has spent time in a mixture of ex-Bourbon barrels & ex-Sherry butts for added complexity.
