70cl / 56.4% / Elixir Distillers – A 2007 Glen Elgin single malt from indie bottler Elixir Distillers’ Whisky Trail Vintage Cars series, bottled in January 2020 after 12 years in a single hogshead. Aromas of dried berries, fluffy marshmallows and Turkish delight fill the nose alongside green grass and spring flowers. The palate offers notes of Victoria sponge with raspberry jam, apricots, cantaloupe and honey-drizzled porridge.
