70cl / 40% – Gelston’s creamy, fruity single pot still whiskey finished for 21 months in French oak Pinot noir barriques. This parcel of wine casks came to Ireland from Two Paddock’s in New Zealand’s South Island, a small vineyard owned and operated by actor Sam Neill. This extra maturation has lent the whiskey an extra layer of berries and black pepper on the palate.
