G Plan 5 Form Drinks Cabinet Bookcase Storage Mid Century ‘Form Five was a range of modern furniture in a simple minimalist style introduced around the end in 1967 & exbanded in the early 70s. Gomme dropped the range by the mid 70s’ This display cabinet features handle-less cupboard doors at the top & the bottom. The middle section is open. The top cupboard is divided by one shelf whilst the bottom cupboard has been left empty, presumably for drinks bottles. The range was made in teak veneer as with most G plan of this age, The teak patina on the cabinet fronts is particularly attractive. We have mounted the unit on gold hair pin legs to make the cupboards more accessibly & give it some extra interest. It is offered in very good condition with minimal wear & tear for its age.
