Deep ruby red with violet reflections. The bouquet on the nose reveals clear scents of blueberry, blackberry, chocolate and black tea, whereas pleasant hints of dark chocolate, black tea, vanilla and coffee make their way through with determination. Full bodied on the palate, embracing the whole mouthfeel with elegant and silky tannins, balanced by a pleasant acidity. Great persistence. A great match with braised pork cheek, saddle of lamb cooked at low temperature. Also excellent with 85% Modica chocolate or as a meditation wine.
