What a great gift to give to the Beer or Whiskey Drinker! Great for Weddings, Best Man Gift, Father’s Day, Anniversary or any other special occasion! The flight board is 18 inches wide by 5.25 inches! We use 1/2 inch stand-offs & the flight board is 1/2 inch thick, making the entire piece 1 inch tall! The flight board can be purchased by itself or with 4 tasting glasses! Our pub glasses are nice, created out of glass not the cheap plastic kinds & fit the flight board with extra space to spare! Please Note: The perfect fit is when the base of the glass is smaller then the actual opening such that the glass does not tip over when serving the drinks! & this allows tasting glasses with different size bases to be used with this extremely versatile flight board! The acrylic piece is also not attached to allow for easy cleaning & is slightly raised from the flight board. We offer the acrylic piece in black, clear or solid white. If not specified at check out we will include Black Acrylic. As pictured we used acrylic chalk markers to write on the acrylic as they wipe clean very easily. Markers are NOT included with this listing. We also offer many varieties of wood choices to create the perfect Flight Tasting Board just for you! Once assembled we use several coats of polyurethane to protect the wood. As shown in the pictures the base/bottom layer we used either Maple or Cherry but can use other woods as well. We then used Mahogany, Cherry & Red Oak for the top. We can keep the bottom & top layer the same type of wood or we can mix it up. & you get to choose what type of acrylic to write your message or label your drinks! If ordering with the pub glasses our stock sometimes changes but we use either Libbey 4809 5 ounces or Luminarc Barlow 5.5 ounce. Both are made of glass & fit great on the flight board. & with the 2 types of glasses we provide, the base is the exact size, the pictures in the listing will show the extra room available around the base of the glasses we provide which is necessary & expected with all Flight Boards. Please note, we are using wood & sealing it but the flight board is not 100% water proof! This should NOT go in the dishwasher & should just be wiped clean with a damp cloth as needed. Unlike many other flight tasting boards, we are not staining the wood to create an Mahogany finish or some other type of look. We do not add stain to cheaper wood, but we do use Polyurethane to seal & protect the wood!
