Selected by members of the Urguhart family who have owned Gordon & MacPhail for 4 generations. Whisky region: Speyside Cask Number: 1610 A limited bottling of 13 decanters.

A 1970 Craigellachie single malt from independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail, matured in a single first-fill American oak hogshead for half a century, before being bottled in November 2020 as part of its Private Collection. Aromas of toffee, milk chocolate, red apple, toasted oak and salted caramel fill the nose, complemented by notes of watermelon, tobacco, fresh mint, beeswax, honey, black pepper and aniseed throughout the palate.
