Clynelish 14 Year old Flora and Fauna Whisky

One of the discontinued famous Flora and Fauna bottlings, Clynelish 14 year old single malt whisky. We think this is one of the best from the Flora and Fauna range and quite an early release from 2004. A solid and savoury coastal Highland malt and like the Highland wild cat on the label rarely seen in the wild! Nose: roast beef and honey mustard, savoury marmite like notes, forest floor mushrooms, nut roast, waxy citrus, quince jelly. Palate: Savoury egg custard or tofu with cold cuts of meat with horseradish like heat, nut burgers and peppery oak. Finish: Gammon crisps, cold roast beef, nutty oak, wasabi, waxy quince
