Colour: Intense ruby red. Bouquet: Ripe fruit with overtones of spice (coffee and vanilla), prune, violet, chestnut, tobacco. Taste: Full and rotund to the palate, soft tannins; enveloping with a lingering aftertaste. Predominance of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Presence of Montepulciano. Lago di Corbara DOC of Castello di Corbara is the result of a blending of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and presence of Montepulciano.
