Canoe Ridge Chardonnay 2018, Chateau Ste Michelle

This Chardonnay is tangy, with lemon and pink grapefruit aromas, while at the same time rich and textured, with crisp apple character on the palate. It comes from Chateau Ste Michelle’s Canoe Ridge Estate in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA, planted on free-draining soils over basalt rock from an ancient river of lava. The site’s southerly aspect, constant sunshine and steady winds from the Columbia River combine to produce elegant and refined wines with concentration and structure.
